Putting Armed Forces Rehabilitation on the Media Agenda

Whilst working with us the British Limbless Ex Service Men’s Association (BLESMA) is able to consolidate communications under one roof. Having a single point of contact enables the association to streamline its communications – as part of the 75th anniversary year we coordinated an integrated campaign including:

  • organising a House of Commons reception bringing together MPs, media and opinion formers (The Independent, The Sunday Telegraph, The Sunday Mirror, The Times and British Forces Broadcasting Service attended)
  • launching a member focused BLESMA website
  • media relations support for all BLESMA events
  • positioning the Association’s General Secretary as a thought leader on treatment and welfare issues in the Armed Forces
  • organising and promoting an awareness raising comedy night
  • managing BLESMA's website, Search Optimisation and content

The result

We have elevated BLESMA's reputation and positioned it as the leading authority on military rehabilitation issues. We secured over 60m Opportunities To See including features in The Independent, The Sun, The Times and the Today Programme. BLESMA is now The Telegraph charity of the year.
